Real Madrid interested in Premier League Right-Back

Spanish Side, Real Madrid, are interested in talented Premier League defender, Ricardo Pereira.

The Portuguese International has played a lot less than expected for Leicester City this season. The Full-Back has started 12 games for the Foxes this season, Pereira is a fan favourite at Leicester so fans would be afraid to see him go.

Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, was heavily interested in the defender during his time at Everton. Ancelotti will certainly have a better chance at signing Ricardo due to the budget at Los Blancos.

Leicester are willing to sell the 28-year-old for around €30m. Ancelotti is a huge fan of Pereira, but if Madrid fail to sign the Portuguese defender then they will pursue other targets like Pavard of Bayern Munich and Mazraoui of Ajax.

Ricardo has scored 1 and assisted 2 this season in a struggling Leicester side. Leicester finished 5th last season, but unfortunately they are 9th this season, with European Football looking too far away.

Ricardo is a great defensive fullback, but if he wants to get the perfect fit he would have to work on his finishing and crossing to contribute to Karim Benzema.

But, with his great defensive contribution, tackling and great through balls. Pereira seems like a good fit for the La Liga leaders.
