Manchester United's Shortlist

Manchester United are looking to sign a permanent Manager for the upcoming season and have started talks with Coaches and their agents regarding factors and requirements.

Such as what wages do the coach want? The players and tactics he is going to use? What players are required to be signed? When will the coach join, etc.

Manchester United have Shortlisted some really quality Managers and there are some surprises in their Shortlist as some huge names such as Zinédine Zidane are not on the Shortlist.

Here is the Shortlist:

1 - Mauricio Pochettino

Manchester United's main target for the upcoming season for the managerial role will be current Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino.

The Argentine manager would live to manage Manchester United and it's his dream to return to England but Real Madrid also looking at the Manager.

2 - Erik Ten Hag

Ajax manager Erik Ten Hag is Manchester United's second choice manager Incase they decide not to sign Mauricio Pochettino.

The Ajax Manager is looking set to leave Ajax at the end of the season with Atletico Madrid looking in case they decide to part ways with Diego Simeone.

3 - Luis Enrique

Former FC Barcelona manager and current Spain National team coach Luis Enrique is thridding on Manchester United's list following an impressive Euros, losing to Italy in the Semi-Finals with the smallest margins on Penalties.

But Manchester United will have to wait until the End of the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar to sign the Spanish manager and it's not an option for the Summer.

4 - Julen Lopetgui

Sevilla's Julen Lopetgui is fourth on the list.

5 - Niko Kovac

Former Bayern Munich manager and current AS Monaco Manager Niko Kovac has surprisingly made it into the Manchester United Shortlist and is fifth đŸ˜³

6 - Roberto Mancini

Former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is sixth in the Shortlist.

Just like Luis Enrique, Manchester United will have to wait until the End of the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar to sign the Spanish manager but might be available in the summer if Euro Champions Italy fails to qualify for the World Cup losing to Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal.

7 - Brendon Rodgers

Leicester City Manager Brendon Rodgers is seventh in Manchester United's Shortlist.

However, despite United's interest, it's yet to be seen whether Rodgers is interested in the role following his past with Liverpool.

There are a few more managers on the list but it's highly likely that one of the seven managers mentioned above with take over the Manchester United manager role after Ralf Rangnick's time comes to an end.

Mauricio Pochettino is the favorites.
