English Clubs interested in Barcelona Star

FC Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo has caught the eyes of English Giants, Manchester United and Chelsea this season.

With 18 months remaining on his contract, FC Barcelona are in talks to extend Ronald Araujo's contract as it expires on 30th June 2023. If the Spanish side can't find an agreement with the defender before the end of the season. Barça would consider selling him before letting him go for free.

The Red Devils have intent on strengthening their defence in the summer and United are willing to make a ‘large investment’ in the centre-half, who is currently enjoying his second full season at the Camp Nou. The Defender is a key part of Barcelona's squad starting 11 games this season scoring 2 goals in the process. The Spanish side would be open to selling him for around €50m.

The 22-Year-Old is one of the brightest prospects in Europe at the moment and don't be surprised if more teams come knocking for Araujo. Araujo's contract expires in June 2023, which means there's still plenty of time for an agreement to be made.

Ronald Araujo wants to stay on the Spanish side. He has told Xavi that he WILL renew his contract in the new weeks, The Uruguay International seems to be happy at the club and clearly has a positive relationship with the players and staff.
