Chelsea Centre-back contract Situation

The Chelsea Centre-back situation isn't good as the contract of all four of their main defenders in the form of Antonio Rudiger, Thiago Silva, Andreas Christensen and Azpilicueta are set to expire at the end of the season.

Chelsea are working hard to find agreements to keep each one of them. However, it's looking likely that they will fail in doing so.

Antonio Rudiger.

The renewal of Antonio Rudiger is currently very difficult. The difference in Rudiger's Demands and Chelsea's offer is big.

Thomas Tuchel wants to keep Rudiger. However, it's very likely that the German defender will leave at the end of the season.

Real Madrid, Bayern Münich & PSG are leading the race to sign him. With Real Madrid being the Favorites to get him.

Carlo Ancelotti loves Rudiger.

Thiago Silva.

Thiago Silva is very close to staying at Chelsea for another season, the 37-year-old is set to sign a one season extension with Chelsea.

Thomas Tuchel loves the player and Chelsea Board really appreciates his attitude, leadership and experience.

Many Brazilian and American clubs contacted Silva regarding a move, however, Thiago Silva wants to stay at the top level for another season.

Andreas Christensen.

Despite being in advanced talks with Chelsea a couple of weeks ago, the talks between Christensen and Chelsea regarding the contract Negotiations has stalled.

FC Barcelona and AC Milan contacted the player and his agent regarding to possible move as AC Milan look to sign him in January and Barça look to sign him on a free transfer for the Summer.

Only Minor details and the player's signature on the contract is missing. However, it looks like Christensen is looking for new adventure.

Azpilicueta.

Chelsea Captain, César Azpilicueta's contract is also set to expire at the end of the season with a few Clubs interested in the 32-year-old.

The Talks between Chelsea and Azpilicueta's agents are slowly progressing. The player's priority is to stay at Chelsea.

FC Barcelona are highly interested in signing César Azpilicueta on a free transfer as Xavi has great relationship with Azpi.

Xavi appreciates his versatility and would love to get Azpilicueta to the Camp Nou.
