Antonio Rudiger Situation


Antonio Rudiger's Contract is set to expire on 30th June 2022 and it's difficult to see the German staying at Stamford Bridge next season. 

With his contract expiring, Many clubs are showing interest in the Centre-back including the likes of FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United and others.

Let's look at the situation of each club.

FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona are interested in Antonio Rudiger on a free transfer at the end of the season. However, Barça do not plan on paying the demands of the German. 

Rudiger to Barça is not happening unless either Barça agree to pay his demands or Rudiger agrees to take a Wage cut in-order to sign for Barça

Real Madrid


Real Madrid are the current favorites to land land the German next season. The club are ready to Pay Rudiger his wage demands.

Rudiger would like to try out Spain.


Manchester United

Manchester United are also interested in Antonio Rudiger as they look to strengthen their Defense. 

Ralf Rangnick is reportedly likes the German.

Manchester United will negotiate with Rudiger in January to see and negotiate with the German about a move to Old Trafford. 


Paris Saint-Germain


Paris Saint-Germain are the second favorites to land the German next season on a free transfer.

PSG have held talks with Rudiger and his agent. However, they have not made any decision whether to sign him or not.


Bayern Münich

Bayern Münich are not interested in Antonio Rudiger at the moment. However, they would consider signing him if they fail to reach an agreement to extract Niklas Süle’s contract. 

Süle’s contract also expires in June 2022.


Antonio Rudiger's Demands.


Antonio Rudiger wants a new contract with Wages around €200,000 per week which will result in him earning around €12M per season with Add-ons and Bonuses included.

FC Barcelona & Tottenham Hotspur considering move for German Centre-back

Borussia Monchengladbach centre-back Matthias Ginter is a target for FC Barcelona & Tottenham Hotspurs. Barcelona are eyeing a summer move for Borussia Monchengladbach centre-back Matthias Ginter incase French Central-backs Clément Lenglet or Samuel Umtiti leave. The 27-year-old, who is with the Germany squad at Euro 2020, has made 140+ appearances for Borussia Mönchengladbach since arriving from fellow Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund in 2017. Ginter enjoyed an highly impressive 2020-21 campaign at club level, making 46 outings in all competitions, contributing two goals and one assist in the process Matthias Ginter has a €30M release clause in his contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach.  FC Barcelona are not looking to pay that sum of money & will try to negotiate the price down.
